Bring back summer already!!!! 😃pretty pleaseeee?! 🏖 Weather has such a big influence on my mood! I get extremely happy and joyful with sun and clear skies, but can become quite nervous when it’s very windy or moody when it’s raining the whole day! ☔️ Also at work the weather has a big impact, the past two weeks were filled with strong winds, turbulence, thunderstorms and rain showers.. 🌧A higher workload, constantly looking for the best route avoiding bad weather, coming back from the walk-around completely wet.. I’m asking you again: Bring back summer already!!! 😆😜😃😊🏝

What I don’t like about my job? Waking up early! I always feel like a zombie waking up at 4am, putting my uniform on, have a quick breakfast and drive to the airport.. 😴 I’d much rather sleep in, wake up from the sunshine, have breakfast on a terrace outside and then make my way to the airport! But then I wouldn’t get to see these amazing pre-sunrise views!🌅 On departure from Palermo airport, overlooking Sicily that’s slowly being lit up, a smoky Etna in the background... 🌋 Buongiorno beautiful people, have your cappuccino and cornetto on my behalf and enjoy your day! 🥐☕️🥰

What’SUP? First time doing stand-up paddle, it’s SO much fun! 🤩 Wasn’t that stable yet, guess I’ll need a bit of practice🏄🏼‍♀️ I really want to get it for next summer!

What you didn’t know about me.. 🙈 When I was 14 years old, I was accepted to a modelling agency. I loved the photoshoots and the various courses we got at the agency to prepare ourselves to become fulltime models 📸 It was really a boost for my self esteem, especially for a 14 year old girl! But, I had to train hard as my size was a bit bigger than the desired (and required) size. 🏋🏼‍♀️ As much as I ate healthy and worked out almost every day, my measurements didn’t reduce. At age 16 I decided to stop trying to reach for the impossible and instead embrace my curves! It was a huge disappointment back then... But now I think that if I had become a fulltime model, I probably wouldn’t have been a pilot right now! 👩🏼‍✈️ Now here’s where it gets interesting: Who would have known that 10 years later, I would be asked to be Vichy’s Sky Ambassador and do a campaign for their Mineral 89 product line?! You can imagine how extremely proud I am! ✨ Finally I get to do what I always wanted, to be a pilot AND a model (even without the “perfect” sizes!) Airfield in sight, request visual ‼️😜Not really relevant to the picture, but visual approaches are probably my favorite thing of the working day! Rather than following the navigation instruments, where we are usually positioned in front of the runway 10-20 Nautical Miles (roughly 18-36 kilometers) before, in a visual approach we may decide ourselves how close we line up with the runway (of course within company established limits). We calculate our altitude vs distance to go, configure the plane for landing (we extend the slats, flaps and landing gear) and we turn towards the runway. It’s a nice way to save some time and some fuel but it also keeps us current with manual flying and descent management! I love it!! 😍🤩
